Nelson Bay Croquet Club has been established for 24 years. It is located in the Blue Water Paradise of Port Stephens, just north of Newcastle, NSW. Membership is open to all who are interested in the game, and visitors are warmly welcomed.
Members play all the three internationally recognised forms of Croquet – Golf, Ricochet and Association. The Club plays both social and competitive games five days each week on four professionally maintained full sized courts and has a small clubhouse on-site. We also have an active program of social events.

Karen Lilly and Judy McDermott were Day Captains on the first day that the Club used the new Quadway Hoops purchased with the assistance of a contribution from Mayoral Funds from Port Stephens Council.
Karen and Judy 'launched' the new hoops with a bottle of champagne before installing them for the first time.
The Mayor will visit the Club on Thursday 29th October to celebrate the successful grant.

19 members plus one prospective member and a member's partner showed up on a beautiful Spring day to work on the clubhouse and courts.
Much elbow grease was applied with the result that the clubhouse is looking spick and span (even though we cannot use it at the moment) and the courts look flat and true - in a week or so we should see further growth and greening. The workers managed to put to use just about every piece of equipment the Club owns.
Many thanks to all who assisted.
